Jordi Sanz Angrill (Barcelona, 2000) is a film director, screenwriter and editor. He holds a degree in Film and a Master's in Film Directing from ESCAC. His films explore memory and remembrance as mutable elements linked to spaces. He directed Sisters (2024), a short film that premiered in the official selection of the 26th Shanghai International Film Festival and was candidate for Best Short Film at the 17th Gaudí Awards of the Catalan Film Academy. His latest short, The Fountain of Memory (2025), has its world premiere in the official selection of the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival.

He combines filmmaking with teaching and cultural management: he has directed four editions of the u22 Film Festival at the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, currently directs the Òmnium Film Festival, was part of the official jury at the 31st L’Alternativa Film Festival, and in 2025 joins the D’A Film Festival as a programmer. He is also a member of the jury for the 12th Pepón Coromina Award of the Catalan Film Academy. He is currently in pre-production of Sismes (2026), the winning project of the FICBueu Residency with mentoring by Isabel Peña. He is also developing the screenplay for his first fiction feature film as a director.
